Joshua Paul Gates and Heather Wade Gates of Kinston announce the birth of a son, Joshua Carson Gates, on Feb. 23, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Maternal grandparents are Chuck and Penny Wade of Kinston. Paternal grandparents are Donnie and Dianne Gates, also of Kinston.
