Fourteen members of the Neuse Extension and Community Association and one staff member from the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension Service office attended the Southeastern District Meeting March 5 in Wayne County.
The theme was Teeing Off for Another Round.
In addition to the business session, Erin Acree, development director at Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina, spoke about supporting local needs and the House.
Michelle Estrada, Family and Consumer Science agent of Wayne County, presented a workshop on Creating Inclusive Communities.
A Cultural Arts competition was held, in which winners on local levels submitted entries.
