According to an incident report obtained from the Kinston Department of Public Safety, a man recently walked into a local bank and relieved himself on the floor.

According to Woody Spencer of the KDPS, Lorenza Sinclair Washington, 35, walked into the BB&T on North Queen Street, Kinston on Tuesday around 2:45 p.m. and asked employees for directions to the bathroom. Not having a public restroom, Mr. Washington was directed to a restaurant down the street.

"He went upstairs at the bank and urinated on the floor," Spencer said. "After he was escorted out of the building, the staff discovered he'd defecated on the floor as well."

Washington was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was placed in the Lenoir County jail under a $300 bond.

"Mr. Washington is homeless and suffers from mental health issues," Spencer said. "He's been in and out of mental health care facilities for several years."
