A man driving a Honda Civic took a turn too quickly, crossed the road and spun into a ditch Monday in Deep Run. Harley Hardee, 18, was arrested at the scene. "He ran a curve there on Smith Grady (Road) at a high rate of speed, ran off the road and hit the ditch," State Trooper Steven Heath said Monday afternoon. "He was arrested and charged with reckless driving and DWI. The case is still pending on the DWI." Hardee was detained in the Lenoir County Jail under a $300 secured bond.
