The following information was provided by the Kinston Dept. of Public Safety:
On May 10, a woman on East Lenoir Avenue, Kinston, reported someone fired a gun into a vehicle at her residence. No injuries were reported. Damages to the vehicle were estimated at $3,000.
On May 12, two women on East Highland Avenue, Kinston, reported someone fired a gun into a vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $300.
On May 12, a woman on East Highland Avenue, Kinston, reported someone fired a gun into a residence on East Highland Avenue, Kinston. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $500.
On May 13, a woman reported someone fired a gun into an occupied vehicle on East Lenoir Avenue, Kinston. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $700.
On May 13, a woman reported someone set fire to an abandoned dwelling on East King Street, Kinston. Damages were estimated at $20,456. No injuries were reported.
On May 13, a representative of Ean Holdings reported someone fired a weapon into a vehicle. The incident occurred at a parking lot on Marilyn Drive, Kinston. Damages were estimated at $2,000. No injuries were reported.
On May 13, a representative of Oakley Builders reported the theft of copper wire valued at $7,000. The incident occurred at a construction site on British Road, Kinston.
