Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Groff of Pink Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Brooke Groff, to Richard Thurman Stroud, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stroud, also of Pink Hill. An Aug. 3 wedding will be held at Smith’s New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Deep Run.
