The Kinston Department of Public Safety arrested two teenagers Tuesday in connection with a break-in that took place earlier that day.

Keon Hakeem Harrison, 16, and Christopher Fennell, 19, both of 1313 McAdoo St. in Kinston, were charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and felony possession of stolen property.

“Harrison and Fennell are wanted for a break-in that occurred on McAdoo Street on Tuesday,” KDPS Maj. Greg Thompson said. “Based on the property that’s been recovered, we believe these suspects may be connected to other recent crimes in the area.”

Harrison and Fennell were both placed in the Smith Detention Center under $55,000 bonds. Their first court appearance was scheduled for Wednesday.
