The following information was reported by the Kinston Dept. of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheirff's Office: 

 
On May 5, a man on Daniels Street, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: A cable box valued at $50; a satellite receiver valued at $50; a VCR valued at $20; an air purifier valued at $300.
 
On May 9, a man on Ashland Avenue, Kinston, reported the theft of a Cub Cadet lawn mower valued at $2,800. 
 
On May 10, a woman on Sherman Street, Kinston, May 10, a woman reported suspects forcibly entered a residence and stole the following: An air conditioning/heating unit valued at $2,500; a kitchen stove valued at $350. Damages to a door were estimated at $40.
 
On May 10, a man reported an acquaintance hit him with a vehicle, resulting in minor injuries. The incident occurred on the 300 block of McDaniel  Street, Kinston. 
 
On May 11, a woman on Cecelia Avenue, Kinston, reported someone broke into her residence and stole Nintendo system valued at $130. Damages to the residence were estimated at $100.
 
On May 11, a man reported someone punched him in the face and ear, resulting in minor injuries. The incident occurred at a restaurant on North Independence Street, Kinston.
 
On May 11, a woman on Karhu Lane, Kinston, reported someone pried open a door at her residence. Damages were estimated at $100.
 
On May 11, a man on Carraway Drive, Kinston, reported someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole the following: A blue money bag valued at $10; cash totaling $350; assorted papers.
 
On May 13, a suspect was arrested at a convenience store on Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd., Kinston for cursing at patrons and refusing to leave. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
 
On May 13, a man on Olive Street, Kinston, reported someone damaged his moped in the process of stealing tools. The tools are valued at $80. Damages to the moped are estimated at $3,500.
 
On May 14, a woman reported someone stole $200 from her purse while in her vehicle. The incident occurred at a convenience store on West Blount Street, Kinston.
 
On May 14, a man on Harlow Street, Kinston, reported someone entered his residence in a non-forceful manner and stole the following: A 42" Vizio TV valued at $300; a 24" Orion TV valued at $150; a Dell laptop computer valued at $300; an HP laptop computer valued at $300.
 
On May 14, it was reported a subject placed false 911 calls in reference to Rochelle Middle School.
 
On May 15, a man reported a friend cut him with an unknown sharp object, resulting in minor injuries. The incident occurred at a nightclub on Hardy Davis Road, Seven Springs.
 
On May 15, a pregnant woman on Jessie T. Bryan Road, Kinston, reported her boyfriend hit her, resulting in minor injuries. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
 
On May 15, a teacher at North Lenoir High School reported her cell phone was stolen from her desk. The phone is valued at $400. 
 
On May 16, a man reported being stabbed in the back and cut on the head by an acquaintance. The incident occurred in a parking lot on South Adkin Street, Kinston.
 
On May 16, a woman reported an acquaintance living at Simon Bright Apartments, Kinston, used her starter checks to steal $700.
 
On May 16, a man reported someone stole his wallet from the counter of a convenience store on on West Vernon Avenue, Kinston. The wallet and cash contained is valued at $250.
 
On May 16, a representative of Walmart on West Vernon Avenue, Kinston, reported someone stole a computer valued at $300.
 
On May 16, a woman on Georgetown Road, Kinston, reported suspects entered his residence and stole the following: An Amerigas tank valued at $200; two Suddenlink cable boxes valued at $100; two digital converters valued at $100. The case disposition is classified as unfounded.
