La Grange man arrested for breaking and entering

LA GRANGE — A wanted suspect in at least two larceny cases has been arrested.
Because of information provided by the community, Anthony Rashad Dawson, 23, of 515 S. Wooten St., was taken into custody.
He was located in the early morning hours on Saturday as he was hiding behind a door inside his residence.
Dawson was charged with two counts each of felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and conspiring to commit breaking and entering, and resist/obstruct/delay and damage to property.
He was also served with child support warrants from Lenoir and Wayne counties.
Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigations detectives, Community Crisis Response Team, La Grange Patrol Division and the State Bureau of Investigation worked to locate Dawson.
He was confined in the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Detention Center under a $75,900 secured bond.
