Brittney Nicole Howard and Ashton Logan Brinson of Kinston and sons, Briley Brinson and Hunter Deaver, announce the birth of a son and brother, Noah Eli Brinson, on Sept. 11, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Maternal grandparents are Terri and Jeff Ellsworth of Kinston. Paternal grandparents are Roger Brinson, and Jamie and Paula Creel, all of Kinston.

Bentley Thomas III and Brandi Jarvis Thomas of Dover and daughter, Alanah Locklear, announce the birth of a son and brother, Jackson Teller Thomas, on July 22, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Maternal grandmother is the late Jill Marie Gibson. Paternal grandmother is Phyllis Johnson Thomas of La Grange.
