Mr. and Mrs. Wade Killette of La Grange celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 22. A surprise dinner and reception were held in the fellowship hall of Bethel United Methodist Church in La Grange where the two are members.

Floral decorations and table centerpieces were created by Sara Tyndall, who also took photographs of the event. The cake, decorated in the wedding colors of royal blue and white, was provided by Jeff and Donna Killette. Melissa Enzore was the coordinator. Jimmy Parks and Terry Moye provided barbecued chicken.

Memorial candles were placed in honor of Wayne Killette, father of the groom who sang at their wedding, and Sheri Grant, sister of the bride who had served as matron of honor.

Both mothers were present and seated at the couple’s table along with Greg Harrison and his wife Debbie, who served as best man and bridesmaid.

The couple has two children, Joshua and Madison.

Mrs. Lisa Killette is the former Lisa Meyers; she is a homemaker.

Mr. Wade Killette is a self-employed farmer.

The couple was married Sept. 24, 1988, by the Rev. T.C. West at the Original Bethel United Methodist Church.
