The holidays kicked into gear this weekend with the Holly Jolly Show, a holiday shopping experience, at the Woodmen Community Center in Kinston. The event, co-sponsored by the Kinston Community Council for the Arts and the Woodmen Foundation, brought over 60 vendors together in a one-stop shop for unique holiday gifts and decor. A highlight of Saturday afternoon was the arrival of Santa. Many local shoppers, as well as visitors to the area, filed in and out of the show on Friday and Saturday. The event is open today and wraps up at 5 p.m.
