“Looking Back at Lenoir County”, a book which contains photos chronicling life in Lenoir County from the 1860s through 1939, is now available at The Free Press.
Free Press Advertising Director Matt Holbrook said customers who preordered the book can come by the Free Press office to pick up their copy. Also, customers will need to either show a receipt or identification to receive their book.
He said residents who did not preorder can still purchase the book by filling out an order form that has been printed in The Free Press, stopping by the paper’s office, or online at lenoirco.pictorialbook.com. The price of the book is $39.95 plus tax.
Holbrook said the book is unique in nature.
“There’s not a book like this, a pictorial book that outlines that period of history for Lenoir County,” he said
He said the book is a hard cover coffee table style book and one residents will be able to cherish for a long time.
“It’s going to be a book you are going to want to keep around for a long time and pass on from generation to generation,” he said.
