A man wanted for making methamphetamine in Deep Run was arrested Saturday in Wayne County.
Donald Robert Page III was later booked into the Lenoir County Detention Center.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Page, 35, for cooking meth in a Wayne County residence.
He’s suspected of manufacturing meth in a house off Tyndall Williams Road. The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation worked the scene, but Page was already gone.
According to an LCSO release, investigators believe Page is the primary suspect in the case and that he wouldn’t turn himself in.
“While Donnie Page is the primary suspect in this matter, we have learned of others who assisted Page in the production of this highly addictive narcotic,” Lenoir County Sheriff Chris Hill said in a statement. “Those arrests will be announced as the investigation progresses.”
Page is charged with felony manufacture of methamphetamine and felony possession and distribution of a meth precursor. He received a $250,000 bond and is due Thursday in Lenoir County District Court.
