Angel Tree sponsors say ‘thanks’
During the months of November and December, Vernon Park Mall and Greene Lamp Head Start sponsored an Angel Tree project.
Community members selected angels and purchased gifts for needy Head Start children and their siblings. The community’s willingness to give helped VPM and Greene Lamp achieve their goal of assuring that every needy child and their siblings received a gift for the holidays.
The two organizations extend special thanks to everyone in the community who sponsored a child and displayed these acts of kindness.
