The Bright Smiles, Bright Futures dental bus is an oral health improvement program based out of Charlotte. The Colgate team, which collaborated with Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Greene Counties’ child care health program, visited area daycare facilities Tuesday and will continue today to give children free screenings. Each year, the dental van travels to under-served rural and urban communities, serving more than 10 million children in 1,000 towns each year, according to Colgate.com.
