The following decisions were reached in Lenoir County district court in Jan, 2013. The presiding judge was the Hon. Brian DeSoto. Matters may be resolved as the result of a guilty plea or dismissal negotiated with the district attorney without a trial. Matters may also be resolved as the result of a trial during which the judge dismisses the case for insufficient evidence or renders a verdict of innocence or guilt.
