The following press release was submitted by the Kinston Department of Public Safety on Tuesday morning:
On Feb. 25 investigators with the Kinston Department of Public Safety arrested Amanda Ann Grady (former Kinston High School teacher) for obtaining property by false pretense.
On Jan. 30, Lenoir County Schools reported a teacher from Kinston High School had converted collected money from an allegedly planned field trip into her own use. The amount of funds taken from students was $ 1,450.
