The Sanctuary Bells of Gordon Street Christian Church will present a concert at 6p.m. March 31 in the sanctuary at Gordon Street Christian Church, 118 E. Gordon St.
The concert will kick off the handbell choir’s 2013 spring tour to Florida where concerts will be presented at retirement communities in Jacksonville, Fla., and Deland, Fla. Highlighting the week will be a performance at 2:45 p.m. April 4 at Downtown Disney’s Waterside Stage.
Under the direction of Joanne M. Heath, the handbell choir will perform a variety of musical styles from their past tours, including patriotic selections, classical “pop,” boogie and original handbell compositions.
