The following information was provided by the Kinston Dept. of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:
 
On March 14, a representative of the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office reported drugs were found on a student in a bathroom at North Lenoir High School. The drugs seized are valued at $10. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
 
On March 15, representative of Allegiance Industries of Columbia, S.C., reported the following items had been stolen from a work trailer at a construction site on Smithfield Way, Kinston: A Greenlee 4" knockout set valued at $1,410; two Greenlee 2" knockout sets valued at $1,821.28; a power drive pipe threader valued at $1,840; a 3/4" die head valued at $63; a 1" die head valued at $67; a 3/4" die head plastic coated pipe valued at $124.
 
On March 17, a woman on Sargett Brown Road, Deep Run, reported an armed male brandished a shotgun and threatened to kill his family. No injuries were reported. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
 
On March 18, a woman on Doctor's Drive, Kinston, reported the theft of a Honda Accord. The vehicle is valued at $7,000.
 
On March 19, a representative of the City of Kinston reported someone set fire to a dock on Earl Tyndall Road. Damages to decking boards/stringer were estimated at $250.
 
On March 21, a woman reported her boyfriend pointed a gun at her. The incident occurred on West Washington Avenue, Kinston. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
 
On March 21, a representative of the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office reported an 18-year-old male bit a 16-year-old female in the neck in the North Lenoir High School auditorium. Minor injuries were reported. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
 
On March 21, a representative of Conway Company of North Herritage Street, Kinston, reported the theft of a money bag containing $6,953.92 cash and $2,877.05 in money orders. The bag itself is valued at $10.
 
On March 22, a representative of Queens Super Market on North Queen Street, Kinston, reported someone broke into their premises and stole four cartons of Newport cigarettes valued at $188.
 
On March 24, a woman on N.C. 11 South, Kinston, reported someone set fire to the exterior of her residence. Damages were estimated at $800.
 
On March 25, a representative of Northside Animal Hospital on North Queen Street, Kinston, reported someone broke into a building on their premises and stole two anesthesia machines valued at $2,000. Damages to the building were estimated at $100.
