Helen Cox Locust, co-pastor of River of Life Christian Center, is attending a conference Thursday through today at the Potter House in Dallas, Texas. Under Dr. T.D. Jakes, Potter House pastor, the theme “No Church Left Behind” is designed to enable pastors and church leaders to overcome problems facing ministers in today’s changing environment.
River of Life members will celebrate the church’s 23rd anniversary May 2-4 and will install Locust as the official pastor during an installation ceremony at 4 p.m. May 5.
The installation service is open to the public.
