Randy and Susan Whitman of La Grange announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Renee Whitman, to Matthew Dustin Murphy of Kinston, son of Lewis and Ellen Murphy of Pink Hill. A July 27 wedding will be held at White Oak Grove Church in La Grange.
