UPDATE 3:30 p.m.: At a Greenville press conference, the Greenville Police Department chief told the media that all four victims and the shooter are in surgery at area hospitals. Conditions for the victims and shooter were not released, nor were their names, although all five are expected to survive.
UPDATE 2:10 p.m.: WITN NBC-7 reports the gunman is alive and in surgery.
UPDATE 1:20 p.m.: WNCT CBS-9 is reporting that four people have been shot; three in the Greenville Walmart and one at the Kellum Law Firm; their conditions are unknown.
The station is also reporting the gunman was apprehended by Greenville police after he fired on them. The gunman was shot by Greenville police.
UPDATE 1 p.m.: The Daily Reflector of Greenville reports the shooter is in police custody. WNCT CBS-9's Alex Freedman reports the shooter has been "neutralized."
