Patricia Dunn and William A. Best, both of Kinston, were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. July 6, 2013, at United Free Will Baptist Tabernacle in Kinston. The Rev. George Davis Jr. officiated their ceremony.

Escorted and given in marriage by her brother, Simon Dunn, the bride is the daughter of Sam and Rosebell Dunn of Kinston.

A graduate of Lenoir Community College, she is self employed at P & T Hair Haven.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Best of Kinston.

A graduate of Gordon Cromwell Theological Seminary in Gordon, Mass., with a doctorate in ministry, he is pastor of St. James C.O.G.I.C.

Following a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Kinston.

Matrons of honor were the bride’s daughter, Andrea Green of Raleigh, and the bride’s sister-in-law, Carol Dillard of Fayetteville. Maids of honor were the bride’s daughter, Tabitha King of Greenville, and the bride’s sister, Flora Wayne of Rosedale, N.Y.

The bride’s brother-in-law, the Rev. Gilbert Dillard of Fayetteville, served as best man.
