Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Baker celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary Aug. 31, 2013, with their friends and staff at Spring Arbor of Kinston.
The couple has two children, Sharon B. Porter of Conyers, Ga., and Michael E. Baker of Clayton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
The former Margaret Hill is the daughter of Sudie Cottle Hill and Adolph Hill of Deep Run. Richard Baker is the son of Chancey Baker Sr. and Hattie Jones Baker of Kinston.
