Kinston police are investigating an overnight shooting and looking for the public's help in identifying whoever is responsible.
According to the Kinston Department of Public Safety, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 500 block of Martin Drive around 12:14 a.m. Monday. They found evidence of bullets hitting a residence and a vehicle.
There were 11 people in the residence, but the vehicle was unoccupied.
