Have a hot lunch and entertainment

From the people who have brought events such as “Stars Dance for the Arts” and Grammy award winning Esperanza Spalding to the community, the Community Council for the Arts is planning the return of its 14th annual Soup & a Bowl fundraising event Jan. 27.

For one inclusive price, ticket holders can choose a handcrafted pottery bowl and partake in as many different homemade soups as desired, adding salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Soups also will be available for take out at $5/pint and $10/quart.

Entertainment will be provided by the Dolce Dulicmers and Drew McPhatter on piano. Annette and Scott Turik are co-chairing the event, and children’s activities will be provided. Small child care will be offered in the Children’s Painting Studio.

Come and spend the morning and early afternoon, arrive after church or any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
