The family of Myrtle Smeraldo gathered over Christmas and celebrated five generations.
Smeraldo was joined by her daughter, Peggy Smith of Dover; her granddaughter, Rebecca Harris of Pink Hill; her great-grandson, Chris Howard of Swansboro; and great-great-grandson, Brayden Howard of Swansboro.
Smeraldo, formerly of Dover, now lives at Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kinston.
